Abstract

Photovoltaic module manufacturer Integrated Batteries (IB) Solar is investing INR 30 billion (USD 340 million) to build a 4GW TOPCon solar cell and module manufacturing plant in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh.

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has approved the allocation of 25 acres of land for the factory near the Noida International Airport along the Yamuna Expressway. The facility is expected to be operational by 2027.

According to the company, this strategic location is anticipated to enhance connectivity and optimize logistics. Additionally, this “gigawatt-scale project” will reduce import dependency and create significant local employment opportunities.
